Notes:

I'm going to put an *asterisk next to these scores for Jim Joyce. I am sure they are close, and they certainly come close to basically representing what was a rather average performance from Joyce last night, but the data needs to be reviewed as I feel it might be incomplete.

I live-tweeted during the game that some of the data I was receiving from the pitchf/x system seemed off. I first noticed it when checking the called third strike to Puig in the fourth inning. The data placed the location of the pitch here:

That did not seem to coincide with my "eyeballing" of the location. Here is the pitch:

I went and re-checked it today and it seems to have been corrected (new data):

The data for Gonzelez' AB immediately following Puig's was incorrect as well, but also appears to have been corrected.

I am still going to double-check everything however, so for now Joyce gets the Barry Bonds treatment:

*

Joyce for the most part had a relatively standard strike-zone, only calling strikes on two of six pitches in the expanded corners of the Adjusted SZ. He had five mistake gifts outside both zones, and five mistake misses in the Standard SZ.

His worst calls were the above strike to Puig, and this strike 1 call against Kendrick in the seventh (0-0 count, 0 outs, nobody on, LI 0.59)

All of Joyce's mistake misses actually went against the Rangers.

Close Calls & Reviews:

There were not any challenges or reviews in the game, beginning a fresh new streak.
