Notes:

On paper, Muchlinski called a game that favored the Dodgers, but the main take-away from the data for this game is that Muchlinski was pretty bad behind the plate. There were three very bad calls. Ball 3 to Brett Anderson in the fourth inning:

Ball 1 to Arenado in the fourth inning:

And I was about to comment on the called second strike to Grandal in the seventh inning until I realized that the pitch f/x data was incorrect.  Data had it marked as a called strike when in actuality it was a swinging strike. Who do I email about this?

Still, it did not impact the game but Muchinski missed a few.

Close Calls & Reviews:

In the bottom of the seventh inning Adrian Gonzalez attempted to steal third base.  It was a pitcher timing play, but even with a good jump the slow Gonzalez was called out.  The review showed that it was close, but he was indeed out.  Marty Foster got it right.
